In the last municipal election, Massimo Pelliccia emerged as the leading candidate, securing a significant 51.11% of the votes. Pelliccia’s victory was backed by a broad coalition of local parties and civic movements, including Casalnuovo Libera, Uniti per Casalnuovo, Forza Italia, Fratelli d’Italia, Prima Casalnuovo, Movimento Civico Casalnuovo Coccinella, Casalnuovo in Movimento, Ambientalisti Civici 2020, Oblò, Il Giglio, and Vivere Casalnuovo.

Following Pelliccia, Giovanni Nappi garnered 38.75% of the votes, supported by a coalition comprising Avanti per Casalnuovo, Io C’èntro, Nappi Sindaco, Partito Democratico, Lista Giovanni Romano, Casalnuovo Futura, La Città che Vogliamo, Città in Rete, and Cuore Fede e Rinascita Casalnuovese Lista Peluso.

Espedito Iasevoli, with the backing of Città Viva, Azione Sociale, and Gnc Gente Nuova per Casalnuovo, received 5.97% of the votes. Christian Cerbone, representing the Movimento 5 Stelle, secured 4.17%.
