Fulminacci Returns to Rome’s May Day Concert for Fifth Time
ROME, April 21, 2026 – Italian artist Fulminacci has been added to the lineup for the highly anticipated May Day Concert in Rome, marking his fifth appearance at the prestigious event. The announcement was made today, April 21, 2026, by the ANSA editorial team, confirming the artist’s continued strong connection with the annual celebration of labor.
Fulminacci first graced the May Day Concert stage in 2019, captivating audiences with an intense performance featuring only his voice and guitar. Since then, his career has seen a steady rise, culminating in significant milestones.
A Strong Connection to the May Day Concert
This year’s concert, promoted by Italy’s major trade unions Cgil, Cisl, and Uil, and organized by iCompany, is dedicated to the theme of "Dignified work: collective bargaining, new protections, and new rights for a changing Italy in the era of artificial intelligence." Fulminacci’s return follows his participation in the Sanremo Festival 2026, where he earned the "Mia Martini" Critics’ Award for his song "Stupida Sfortuna."
His consistent presence at the May Day Concert, including editions in 2019, 2020, 2023, and 2025, underscores a deep-rooted relationship with the event, reflecting his commitment to its themes and his appeal to a broad audience.
"Calcinacci" Album and "Palazzacci Tour 2026"
Fresh off the release of his new album "Calcinacci," Fulminacci is currently on his "Palazzacci Tour 2026," marking his first time headlining shows in sports arenas. His inclusion in the May Day lineup adds further momentum to his successful year.
Other artists announced for the Concertone include Angelica Bove, Birthh, Casadilego, Chiello, Delia, Ditonellapiaga, Dolcenera, Eddie Brock, Emma Nolde, Ermal Meta, Frah Quintale, Geolier, I Ministri, Irama, La Niña, Lea Gavino, Litfiba, Maria Antonietta and Colombre, Mobrici, Okgiorgio, Primogenito, Riccardo Cocciante, Roshelle, Santamarea, and Sissi.
