Vincenzo Comunale, the acclaimed Neapolitan comedian born in 1996, is returning to the stage with a brand new stand-up comedy show titled “Prima Pagina” (First Page). Written and directed by Comunale himself, the monologue uses the metaphor of starting a new book to explore the fear and excitement of embarking on new phases of life. The show promises a unique blend of personal anecdotes and insightful generational observations, delivered with his signature comedic style and subtle reflections.
Naples to Host Grand Opening of “Prima Pagina”
The highly anticipated tour of “Prima Pagina” will commence in Comunale’s hometown of Naples. The Teatro Acacia will host four exclusive performances from January 8 to 11. This initial run marks the official launch of a tour expected to captivate audiences both in Italy and internationally.
Comunale’s Unique Perspective and Audience Interaction
Comunale is renowned for his ability to observe everyday reality from unexpected angles, finding humor in common situations. While his narrative touches upon Naples, it deliberately avoids stereotypes, instead giving voice to the experiences of young people straddling the Millennial and Generation Z demographics. A significant and dynamic element of the show is improvisation and direct engagement with the audience, ensuring that each performance is unique and influenced by the interaction.
A History of Success: From Piazza del Plebiscito to Palapartenope
This return to the stage follows a period of remarkable success for the comedian. In 2023, Comunale achieved a significant milestone by performing in front of over five thousand people at Piazza del Plebiscito. Building on this momentum, he replicated his success in 2025 with two sold-out shows at the Palapartenope, where he presented his previous show, “A Ruota Libera” (Freewheeling).
International and National Tour Dates Announced
After its Neapolitan debut, “Prima Pagina” is set to embark on an international journey. The first European stop will be in Vevey, Switzerland, at the Theatre de la Grenette, for three evenings from March 13 to 15. Towards the end of March, the show will return to Italy, with performances in Milan (Teatro Elfo Puccini, March 23), followed by two dates in Turin (Teatro Q77, March 27-28), and finally in Rome (Teatro Sala Umberto, April 11).
The initial phase of the tour will conclude with two additional international dates: April 24 in Brussels, at the Aloft Brussels Schuman, and May 22 in Barcelona, at the Golem’s Theatre. The production is a collaborative effort by Full Heads Comedy, in partnership with international entities such as BeComedy UK and Barley Arts.
