UniCredit Kicks Off Financial Education Program in Rome to Empower Individuals
Rome, May 28 – UniCredit’s Banking Academy – ESG Italy inaugurated the 2026 edition of its free financial education program, “Conversations on Money,” today, May 28, at 6:00 PM in Rome, hosted at Nativa Società Benefit. This initiative is designed to provide participants with essential tools for managing their finances, understanding financial, insurance, and pension topics, while also examining the influence of social, cultural dynamics, and gender biases on economic decisions.
First Session Focuses on Project Realization with Limited Savings
The inaugural session, titled “I have a project in the drawer, but few savings. Can I realize it? Spoiler: yes, but with the right planning!” delved into practical strategies for achieving financial goals despite limited resources. The discussion was moderated by Clara Morelli of Chora & Will Media and featured UniCredit managers alongside specialists in economic and consumer psychology. Key topics included how to begin investing and the significant role emotions and cultural conditioning play in shaping or undermining economic decisions. The session also addressed forms of economic violence, with support from professionals from Fondazione Libellula.

The Rome event marks the first stop in a series of planned sessions throughout the year. Subsequent meetings are scheduled for Trento on June 24, Bari on October 6, and a final online session on November 25. This comprehensive program underscores UniCredit’s dedication to fostering financial literacy and empowerment across various communities.
