NAPLES, February 17 – Two young men, aged 21 and 22, have been arrested in Naples on charges of attempted murder and carrying firearms in public. The arrests were made in an apartment in the Pallonetto area. According to initial reconstructions, one of the two suspects fired a shot at the owner of a bar in the Chiaia district yesterday evening.
Bar Manager Intervenes in Brawl, Becomes Target of Retaliation
The incident occurred after the bar manager had reportedly intervened to break up a fight that had erupted for trivial reasons inside his establishment. The shooting is believed to be an act of retaliation for his intervention.
The event took place in Vicoletto Belledonne in Chiaia. Police arrived on the scene to find that the two suspects had already fled on a scooter, heading towards Via Cavallerizza.
