Rome, April 26 – A Rome prosecutor has requested a 6.5-year prison sentence for Tancredi Antoniozzi, 22, son of Fratelli d’Italia MP Alfredo Antoniozzi, on charges of robbery, threats, and attempted extortion. Antoniozzi is accused of being the ringleader of a gang that targeted young people from affluent Roman families, stealing luxury watches.
Prosecution Seeks Conviction for Antoniozzi and Accomplices
According to reports from Repubblica and Corriere della Sera, prosecutors allege that Antoniozzi, along with three other individuals, stole a Rolex from an acquaintance on Via Cavalier D’Arpino in the Parioli district. Antoniozzi, who has been under house arrest since his initial arrest on April 5, 2025, is believed to have orchestrated these robberies.
The prosecutor has also sought convictions for Antoniozzi’s alleged accomplices: David Cesarini, Michael Giuliano, and Manuel Fiorani. Cesarini faces a request for 6 years in prison, while Giuliano and Fiorani face requests for 3 years and 4 months, and 3 years and 9 months, respectively.
