Preliminary estimates suggest a total of approximately 20,000 demonstrators will take to the streets, with participants expected from other Italian cities and abroad.
Extensive Security Measures in Place
Security measures have been meticulously planned during a technical meeting at the police headquarters, following weeks of discussions with the organizers of the various mobilizations. The protest causing the most concern is the one advocating for ‘remigration’ policies. This demonstration, organized by the ‘Remigration and Reconquest Committee,’ is scheduled to begin at 3:00 PM in Piazza della Libertà in the Prati district. Around 4,000 participants are expected to march towards Piazza Risorgimento, passing through Via Cola di Rienzo.
