“Dis Hub” Project Launched in Naples: A Laboratory for the Future of Disability Inclusion
NAPLES, January 13, 2026 – Not just a simple association, but a true laboratory for the future: the “Dis Hub” project was presented today in the Antisala dei Baroni at the Maschio Angioino in Naples. Conceived by a pool of Neapolitan entrepreneurs, “Dis Hub” aims to challenge societal hypocrisy and the conventionalism that often relegates people with disabilities to the role of “eternal children.”
The founders, including Giorgio Bruno, Ezia Russo, Sabrina Di Dato, Marco Iacolare, Mattia Sbrescia, Stefano Marotta, Antonio Del Prete, and Loredana Russo, seek to dismantle cultural disability – the fear of diversity fueled by a lack of understanding.
Three Pillars for a Full Life
Through a concrete approach that moves away from traditional charity, “Dis Hub” positions itself as a bulwark for the protection of disability in all its nuances. The project is built upon three fundamental pillars:
- Real Work: Creating genuine professional opportunities and career paths.
- Autonomy: Providing practical tools for managing daily life.
- Full Life: Encouraging open discussion about feelings, sexuality, ambitions, and desires.
“The common understanding is that entrepreneurial success is truly fulfilling only when shared and capable of generating a timeless impact, especially in favor of the most vulnerable segments of society,” stated the project’s press release.
Perspectives and Opportunities
The presentation meeting, which was also attended by Roberto Pafundi, former director of the INPS metropolitan coordination in Naples, delved into the prospects and opportunities that the project intends to create both locally and nationally.
This initiative marks a significant step towards fostering a more inclusive society in Naples and beyond, by addressing the root causes of marginalization and empowering individuals with disabilities to lead independent and fulfilling lives.
