Naples, February 5, 2026 – The Naples Airport Authority (NAA) has announced significant leadership changes, including new board appointments for 2026 and the hiring of a new Director of Communications. These strategic moves aim to enhance community engagement and ensure effective oversight of Naples Airport operations.
Brad Fagan to Lead Community Outreach Initiatives
Brad Fagan, a U.S. Navy veteran and experienced communications leader, has been appointed as the Director of Communications for the Naples Airport Authority. Fagan will be responsible for planning and directing the organization’s community relations department, focusing on both internal and external communications, community outreach, branding, and noise abatement initiatives. His role will also involve overseeing programs designed to maintain the NAA’s engagement and responsiveness to the community.
Chris Rozansky, Executive Director of the Naples Airport Authority, expressed enthusiasm for the new appointment, stating, “We are thrilled to add Brad to our team. His depth of experience and strong leadership skills will allow us to broaden our reach in the community.”
Prior to joining the Naples Airport Authority, Fagan served as Communications Manager for TISTA Science and Technology Corporation in Austin, Texas. His extensive background also includes roles as Director of Corporate Communications for Health Center Partners of Southern California and Executive Director of Marketing and Communication for Providence Health & Services – Los Angeles Service Area.
Fagan’s distinguished career with the U.S. Navy encompassed various public affairs, marketing, and communications leadership positions, including Director of Public Affairs for the Navy’s Southwest region, Commanding Officer for the Navy’s Fleet Imaging Command Pacific, and Director of Public Affairs for the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Nimitz.
A Naples native and 1987 graduate of Naples High School, Fagan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in public relations from the University of Florida and a Master of Science degree in operations management from the University of Arkansas.
New Airport Board and Committees for 2026
The Naples Airport Authority Board of Commissioners has elected Terrence Cavanaugh as Chair and John Crees as Vice Chair for 2026. Both officers will serve in their respective leadership capacities for the upcoming year.
The NAA’s Board of Commissioners, appointed by the Naples City Council, is tasked with providing policy direction, strategic oversight, and long-term guidance for Naples Airport, ensuring its continued effective service to the region. The five-member board also includes Robert Patten Burns, Michelle Arnold, and Ralph Alberto.
During their January 15 meeting, board members also designated representatives for two key committees for one-year terms. Michelle Arnold will chair the Audit Committee, with John Crees and Robert Burns also serving. Terrence Cavanaugh and Ralph Alberto have been appointed to the Consultant Selection Committee.
Additionally, John Crees will act as the board’s liaison to the Noise Compatibility Committee, a nine-member committee comprising local residents and volunteers. This committee reviews the airport’s noise abatement program and provides recommendations to the Naples Airport Authority.
