The man is accused of stabbing another individual at a gym on Via Casilina on the morning of June 11, 2026.

The incident occurred around 8:55 AM when the victim was struck by a blade in his left side. He was rushed to the Casilino Polyclinic emergency room, where he underwent immediate, life-saving surgery.

By the afternoon of June 17, 2026, due to the constant investigative pressure from the Carabinieri, who had narrowed their search, the man intended to spontaneously present himself at the Rome Rebibbia Prison, accompanied by his defense lawyer. However, he was located by the Carabinieri, who apprehended him and took him to the barracks for questioning. The Public Prosecutor’s Office in Rome was informed and ordered his transfer to Regina Coeli Prison, where he remains at the disposal of the Judicial Authority.
