Milan, Lombardy, Italy – December 11, 2025 – LIMES Farm, a dynamic coworking space and innovation hub based in Cividate Camuno, has been honored with the prestigious MUSA Next Generation PMI award. The announcement was made during the final event of the MUSA – “The Paths of Sustainable Innovation” project, held at the historic Palazzo Reale in Milan on December 4, 2025.

LIMES Farm’s Innovative Model Recognized

The award celebrates LIMES Farm’s exceptional ability to generate value in low-density territories. By providing essential services to startups, professionals, and established businesses, the hub has demonstrated a scalable, replicable, and sustainability-rooted model for urban and social regeneration. This recognition culminates three years of dedicated research, experimentation, and strategic alliances with universities, institutions, and enterprises.

MUSA, an innovation ecosystem funded by the PNRR and promoted by universities and large corporations, has acknowledged LIMES Farm’s forward-thinking vision. The hub successfully integrates technology, local impact, and entrepreneurial culture, distinguishing itself as more than just a workspace. It functions as a vibrant ecosystem that offers mentoring, training, and professional cross-pollination, serving as a “permanent laboratory” where businesses and institutions collaboratively design solutions tailored to local needs.

Significant Financial and Networking Support

As part of the award, LIMES Farm received a total contribution of 150,000 euros. This financial backing is complemented by entry into the extensive MUSA network, further solidifying the importance of initiatives that foster innovation beyond major urban centers.

Diego Zarneri, CEO of LIMES Farm, expressed his gratitude and pride regarding the achievement. “This award demonstrates that the LIMES model presents a significant opportunity for many peripheral territories rich in potential,” Zarneri stated, dedicating the recognition to the Valle Camonica community and all partners who have supported the project since its inception.

MUSA’s Broader Impact on Sustainable Innovation

Over the past three years, the MUSA ecosystem has driven more than 150 projects across various critical areas, including urban regeneration, deep tech, sustainable finance, and inclusive societies. These efforts have led to the creation of numerous Living Labs, patents, and new technologies, all contributing to the broader goal of sustainable transition.

For LIMES Farm, this award is not an endpoint but rather the commencement of a new, ambitious phase. The hub aims to further strengthen competencies, support businesses, and empower local communities. This strategic direction is set to reinforce LIMES Farm’s position as one of the most dynamic innovation hubs in the province of Brescia and throughout the entire Alpine region.

The continued success of LIMES Farm underscores a growing national recognition of the potential for innovation and sustainable development in Italy’s less densely populated areas, highlighting the critical role of local hubs in fostering economic and social vitality.
