The inauguration will feature the grand opening of Aqua World, a new aquatic park, and a long weekend filled with entertainment designed to offer adventures worthy of a film.
Aqua World: A New Aquatic Paradise Near Rome
The summer offering at Cinecittà World explodes with the June 2nd long weekend, with Aqua World taking center stage. This new water park promises a vacation paradise just minutes from Rome, featuring beaches, slides, water games, and relaxation areas. Guests can unwind on the Lazy River Paradiso, brave the thrilling Vortex & Boomerang slides, or bask in the sun in the VIP Areas amidst lush vegetation with reserved umbrellas and sunbeds.
The Cinepiscina will host live music and animation, igniting the summer atmosphere, complemented by the unmissable weekend foam parties and special events. The park will extend its entertainment into the summer evenings under the stars, with a vibrant schedule of shows and events. Among the new additions to the park’s shows is “K-Pop – The Lost Rhythm,” an energetic Korean pop performance for the whole family to dance and sing along to.
A Summer Full of Major Events and Tributes
The season of events kicks off on June 7 with the Cinecittà World Soccer Experience, a tournament dedicated to Lazio’s football schools. This event will include awards ceremonies, parades, and a Meet&Greet opportunity with popular YouTubers Pirlas V and Boss della Tecnica, who boast millions of views.
The weekend of June 13 and 14 will see the park transform for Roma Comics, a festival celebrating comics and pop culture. Attendees can expect cosplayers, artists, parades, and contests. The nights will be illuminated by Stelle di Fuoco (Stars of Fire), a spectacular fireworks show synchronized with cinematic soundtracks. The displays on June 13 and 14 will honor composers Morricone and Moroder, while June 20 and 21 will feature Hollywood composers.
The month concludes with the largest tribute ever dedicated to Bud Spencer, marking exactly 10 years since his passing. The “Bud Spencer Tribute – 10 years without Bud” event, conceived by the Pedersoli family and organized in collaboration with The Bulldozers (the international fan club dedicated to Bud Spencer and Terence Hill), will take place at the park from June 26 to 28. This three-day event will offer shows, live music, including a highly anticipated concert by Oliver Onions, parades of iconic film cars, stunt shows, and numerous activities to celebrate one of the most beloved actors of all time with families and fans worldwide.
