Milan is set to become a hub for future technology as it hosts CES Unveiled on October 21st at the Allianz MiCo – Milano Convention Center. This event, a traveling showcase for the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), will bring together advanced robotics, artificial intelligence, new healthcare tools, smart home appliances, and futuristic vehicles, offering a glimpse into the future of consumer technology.
Milan Chosen as Key European Stop for CES Unveiled
Following successful events in Paris and Amsterdam, Milan has been selected as the third European city to host CES Unveiled, an event designed to promote the world’s most influential technology trade show, organized by the U.S. Consumer Technology Association (CTA). The upcoming Milan event will precede the main CES exhibition scheduled for January 2027 in Las Vegas.
Giovanni Bozzetti, President of Fondazione Fiera Milano, emphasized that Milan’s selection confirms the city’s, Lombardy’s, and Italy’s strong appeal in positioning themselves at the forefront of global innovation and technology. He also highlighted it as a recognition of the quality of the region’s economic, scientific, and entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Francesco Conci, CEO and General Manager of Fiera Milano, underscored the advanced infrastructure and organizational expertise of the convention center as key factors enabling it to host events of such global significance.
Kinsey Fabrizio, President of the CTA, explained the strategic choice of Milan, stating that the city is at the crossroads of design, creativity, and technology, making it an ideal location to further engage the European innovation community.
Showcasing European Innovation and Startups
CES Unveiled in Milan is organized in collaboration with Agenzia Ice, the Italian government agency supporting the international development of Italian companies. Agenzia Ice regularly participates in the main CES event, bringing top Italian startups to Las Vegas.
The Milan event will primarily feature startups from across Europe, showcasing their innovations in sectors such as aerospace, artificial intelligence, agritech, and digital health. This platform aims to highlight the capabilities of European innovation and foster discussions on how to further enhance it.
Gary Shapiro, CEO of the CTA, commented on the international nature of innovation, asserting that Europe continues to play a fundamental role in the future of technology. He added that by bringing CES Unveiled to Milan, the CTA aims to provide a platform for extraordinary European innovators and create a strong gateway to CES, where ideas and investments converge.
