NAPLES, May 19, 2026 – Anna Capasso, the acclaimed singer and actress from ‘Mare Fuori – Il Musical,’ is set to star in her musical ‘Women on a Journey – From Naples to Broadway.’ The performance will take place at Teatro Il Piccolo in Naples, Piazzale Tecchio 3, on Thursday, May 21, at 8:30 PM.
An Autobiographical Journey from Naples to Broadway
In this unique show, Anna Capasso will take the stage alone, guiding the audience through a journey of music, words, and emotions. The musical is an autobiographical account of a young girl’s dream to bring her voice, imagination, and talent all the way to Broadway, while steadfastly preserving her Neapolitan roots.
Accompanying her live on the piano will be Ciro Cascino, who is also responsible for the musical direction of the performance. Naples serves as the starting point for an artistic and human journey filled with dreams, sacrifices, and identity. The show features intense interpretations of iconic Neapolitan traditional songs such as ‘I’te vurria vasà’ and ‘Dicitencello vuie,’ alongside timeless international hits like ‘Memory’ and ‘Think.’

Anna Capasso, who also directs the show, shared her motivations behind reviving this particular performance. “After ‘Mare Fuori – Il Musical,’ I felt the desire to bring back a show I performed 15 years ago, but now with a completely different maturity and awareness,” she stated.
