18-Year-Old Shot in Naples’ Scampia District, Hospitalized
Naples, April 24, 2026 – Another shooting incident has occurred in Naples, this time in the Scampia district, where an 18-year-old male was shot in the leg and subsequently hospitalized. The victim is currently receiving treatment at CTO Hospital.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear. Carabinieri officers have visited the hospital to interview the victim and gather information to reconstruct the events and identify the perpetrators of the assault. According to initial reports, the 18-year-old, who is reportedly known to law enforcement, was walking along Via Labriola when he was shot by an individual for reasons yet to be determined.
Fortunately, the young man received timely medical attention and was transferred to the hospital. His life is not believed to be in danger, as the bullet reportedly lodged in his leg without causing fatal injuries.
