Why So Italy began in 2022 over a heated family dinner debate in Marco Benedetti’s Boston apartment. His American friends insisted that chicken alfredo was Italian, while his visiting cousin from Rome nearly choked on his wine. That night, Marco started a simple blog to answer his friends’ endless questions about “real” Italy.
