Royal Palace of Naples: Special Evening Openings Continue

The Royal Palace of Naples is once again hosting its popular ‘Un Sabato da Re’ (A Saturday Fit for a King) event, offering extraordinary evening access to the State Apartment. This initiative provides a unique opportunity to experience the historical grandeur of the palace under the evening sky.

When and How to Visit

The next special evening opening is scheduled for Saturday, June 27, 2026. The palace will be open from 8:00 PM until midnight, with the last entry permitted at 11:00 PM.

Ticket Information

  • Standard entry: 5 euros
  • Reduced ticket: 2 euros (eligible for concessions and free entry as per law)

Tickets can be purchased directly at the museum’s ticket office, using the automatic totem, or through the ‘Musei Italiani’ app or portal. Please note that booking is not required for individual visitors.

Group Bookings

For groups exceeding 10 people, advance booking is mandatory. This can be done via the ‘Musei Italiani’ portal or by contacting the ticket office if there is remaining availability. Group entries are scheduled every 20 minutes from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Areas Not Accessible During Evening Hours

During these special evening openings, certain areas of the palace will not be accessible to visitors. These include: the Hanging Garden, the Caruso Museum, and the Fabbrica Museum.

Upcoming Events

While the ‘Seconda stella a destra’ visit, which includes astronomical observation from the Belvedere on June 27, is currently sold out, new dates for similar events will be announced soon. Visitors are encouraged to check the official website or app for updates.

Plan Your Visit

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, consider the following:

  • Arrive early: Especially if you plan to purchase tickets on-site, arriving closer to 8:00 PM can help avoid queues.
  • Check for updates: Before your visit, it’s always a good idea to check the official Royal Palace of Naples website or the ‘Musei Italiani’ app for any last-minute changes or additional information.
  • Transportation: The Royal Palace is centrally located in Naples and easily accessible by public transportation.

This special opening offers a fantastic opportunity for both locals and tourists to explore one of Naples’ most iconic landmarks in a different light. Don’t miss the chance to immerse yourself in history and culture during these unique evening hours.
