Made in Italy Female Entrepreneurship Exhibition Arrives in Naples

Naples, June 5, 2026 – The Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT) is bringing the excellence and creativity of Italian female entrepreneurship to Naples. The exhibition, titled “Made in Italy Female Entrepreneurship,” is now open for free public viewing at the Real Albergo dei Poveri.

The exhibition, organized by MIMIT in collaboration with the Federation of Knights of Labour and the Marisa Bellisario Foundation, concludes its tour in Naples after stops in Milan, Turin, and Campobasso. From today until June 30th, thanks to the collaboration with the Municipality of Naples, visitors can explore the exhibition that celebrates over 100 Italian businesswomen who have excelled in their respective fields, contributing significantly to Italy’s economic, social, and civil growth.

Inauguration and Participants

The exhibition was inaugurated in the presence of Laura Valente, the Mayor of Naples’ representative for cultural programming and artistic direction of the Albergo dei Poveri; Nicola Marco Fabozzi, representative of the Casa del Made in Italy in Naples; Elena Salzano, representative of the Marisa Bellisario Foundation; Anna Alois, representative of the National Federation of Knights of Labour; and numerous female entrepreneurs.

A Rich and Diverse Journey

The exhibition, previously set up in Rome and then toured in Milan, Turin, and Campobasso, presents the experiences of prominent female entrepreneurs from the past alongside contemporary businesswomen and start-up founders. This rich and articulated journey features photographs, videos, and iconic objects that narrate individual stories spanning all Italian productive sectors. From fashion to electronics, cinematography to catering, prestigious wineries to IT, pharmaceuticals to aerospace, craftsmanship to cosmetics, shipowning to steel, music to publishing, and tourism to food and wine, the exhibition highlights the courage and determination of women who contribute to making Italy great. Some of the featured entrepreneurs have been awarded the honor of Knight of Labour and have also received the “Marisa Bellisario Award.”

Exhibition Design and Support

The visual identity project and the exhibition setup – from the initial display at the MIMIT headquarters to subsequent stages in Milan, Turin, Campobasso, and now Naples – are curated by the SM5 design studio (Stefano Roscini, Andrea Sale, Sara Palumbo, and Fulvio De Nitto – www.sm5design.it).

The exhibition is realized with the technical support of Invitalia, which manages the Female Entrepreneurship program, part of the PNRR (National Recovery and Resilience Plan) and funded by Next Generation EU (NGEU) resources.

The exhibition will be open to the public free of charge every day until June 30th, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, on the first floor of the Real Albergo dei Poveri in Piazza Carlo III, 6, Naples.
