Missing Woman Found Segregated and Beaten in San Cesareo

San Cesareo, June 6, 2026 – The disappearance of a young woman, reported by her mother on May 24, has culminated in a dramatic discovery. The woman was found segregated and physically assaulted by her boyfriend inside a container in San Cesareo. The 31-year-old boyfriend, a resident of San Cesareo, has been arrested in connection with the incident.

Mother Reports Daughter Missing

The ordeal began when the victim’s mother, distraught, reported her daughter missing to the Carabinieri station in Roma Talenti. She had lost all contact with her daughter, prompting an immediate investigation by law enforcement.

Discovery in a Private Field

The Carabinieri’s investigation led them to a private field on Via degli Olmi, located outside the city, which contained several modular homes and caravans. Here, inside a container, they found the young woman. She was in tears and a state of confusion, with clear signs of physical abuse on her body.

Victim Recounts Her Ordeal

The victim, upon being rescued, recounted her harrowing experience to the Carabinieri. She stated that her boyfriend had forcibly brought her to the location, where she was subjected to violence and held against her will. The boyfriend, realizing the presence of the police patrols, attempted to flee on foot into the surrounding countryside. However, he was quickly located and apprehended.

Boyfriend Arrested and Charged

The 31-year-old man, originally from Tivoli and residing in San Cesareo, was arrested on charges of ill-treatment of family members, stalking, and aggravated personal injury. He has been transferred to Regina Coeli prison, where he awaits further legal proceedings.

Medical Attention and Return Home

Following her rescue, the young woman received immediate medical attention from 118 personnel. She was transported to the emergency room at Ariccia Hospital, where she was treated and discharged with a prognosis of 10 days. She has since returned home and has been reunited with her family.

The Carabinieri continue their investigation into the full extent of the abuse and the circumstances leading to the woman’s segregation. This case highlights the persistent issue of domestic violence and the critical role of timely intervention by law enforcement.
