Milan, May 5 – The Hilton Milan hotel, located at Via Luigi Galvani 12, has completed an extensive renovation project encompassing its rooms, suites, and public areas. This significant investment aims to refresh the hotel’s offering in a prime city location, aligning its interior aesthetics with the urban transformation of the vibrant Isola district.
A Deep Investment to Reflect Isola’s Creative Identity
This refurbishment marks eight years since the last structural restyling and seeks to update the hotel’s appeal in a strategic area of Milan. The design concept draws inspiration from the creative and transformative spirit of the Isola neighborhood, aiming to reflect Milan’s identity through contemporary design, color palettes, and lighting.
Renewed Rooms and Suites Across Both Wings
The renovation impacted both wings of the building. The executive rooms, suites, and junior suites were completely rethought, with modifications to the layout of bedrooms, living areas, and bathrooms. The remaining rooms also underwent modernization to enhance brightness and functionality. The chosen design incorporates a new color palette and various textures to improve the thermal and visual comfort for guests.
Strengthening the Hotel’s Connection to the City
Daniele Fabbri, General Manager of Hilton Milan, stated that this evolution serves to “strengthen the link between the hotel and the city,” aiming to offer an experience that is more aligned with the current urban reality. This approach emphasizes the hotel’s commitment to reflecting the local culture and contemporary design trends.
Enhanced Business and Dining Facilities
Beyond the guest accommodations, the renovation extended to the Executive Lounge and the meeting and event centers. These spaces have been updated with new furnishings and carpeting, featuring color schemes ranging from green to burgundy. The hotel continues to offer productivity and wellness services, including a fitness center and a business center. The gastronomic offering at CotoliAMO bistrot remains active, focusing on modern interpretations of Milanese cuisine.
Hilton’s Broader European Strategy
The investment in Milan is part of a broader strategy by the Hilton group to strengthen its properties in major European cities. Katharina Schlaipfer, Vice President of Operations for Continental Europe, emphasized that the upgrade of the Milanese location is considered “necessary to meet the demands of today’s travelers.” The stated goal is to maintain the hotel’s competitiveness in a constantly evolving hospitality market while preserving the local character of the destination.
Impact on the Local Economy and Tourism
The renovation is expected to further boost Milan’s appeal as a top European destination, attracting both business and leisure travelers. The enhanced facilities and modern design are anticipated to contribute positively to the local tourism sector, reinforcing Milan’s position as a hub for creativity, culture, and business.
