Upon inspection, the stolen backpack was found to contain a tablet, a mobile phone, and 3,000 euros in cash stored in a designer wallet. The swift action of the police ensured the recovery of the stolen items and the apprehension of the suspect.
Man Arrested for Perfume Theft and Knife Possession in Via Torino
Shortly after the first incident, another arrest was made in Via Torino. A 36-year-old man from Sri Lanka was observed taking a bottle of perfume from a Sephora store. Local police officers, present in the vicinity, intervened and conducted a search. In addition to the stolen perfume, the man was found to be in possession of two knives.
He was arrested for theft and further investigated for carrying weapons without justified reason. The presence of the knives added a serious dimension to the theft, prompting additional charges.
