The Milan Science and Technology Museum is set to enchant visitors of all ages this festive season, with a diverse program running from December 26 to January 6 (excluding January 1). - Submarine and Leonardo Galleries: Explore the Enrico Toti submarine, which arrived at the museum 20 years ago, and the Leonardo Galleries, home to the world’s largest exhibition dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci.

Playlab: A Space for Young Explorers (Ages 3-6)
The new Playlab is a 400 sqm area dedicated to children aged 3 to 6, offering five themed environments for creative exploration. Kids can engage in art and science through play, invention, imagination, and storytelling. This includes a forest of backdrops, a construction space with simple shapes, a light-drawing area for shadow theatre, a room for observing museum collections from unusual perspectives, and an Atelier for edutainment activities.

The museum’s interactive laboratories provide direct, hands-on experiences:
- Tinkering Zone: ‘Drawing with Shadows’ for Christmas stories using imagination.
- iLAB Biotechnology: ‘Miniature Forests’ to explore with moss and microscopes.
- iLAB Food: ‘Future Cookies’ for experimenting with innovative desserts.
- iLAB Chemistry: ‘Winter Landscapes’ to decompose colors and react substances.
- iLAB Leonardo: Create decorations and greeting cards inspired by ancient textile art and Renaissance botany.
- iLAB Sustainability: Discover systems and reflect on daily actions.
- iLAB Genetics: Explore DNA and build stellar gardens.

Virtual Zone: Adventures for Older Kids and Adults

- Apollo 11 VR: Relive the historic space mission that first landed humans on the Moon on July 20, 1969.
Interactive Installations and Exhibitions
The museum also hosts the interactive installation Les Pissenlits, an early interactive artwork where a visitor’s breath transforms into digital wind, making dandelion seeds fly across a screen. Additionally, until February 15, visitors can explore the Queens & Ducks exhibition by Patrick Mimran, featuring large photographs that interact with the museum’s architecture and heritage, offering a new sensory and visual experience within the Cloisters and Railway pavilion.
